כִּ֣י לֹ֧א יָכְל֛וּ לַעֲשֹׂת֖וֹ בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֑יא כִּ֤י הַכֹּהֲנִים֙ לֹֽא־הִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּ לְמַדַּ֔י וְהָעָ֖ם לֹא־נֶאֶסְפ֥וּ לִֽירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
װאָרום זײ האָבן אים ניט געקענט מאַכן אין יענער צײַט, װײַל ניט גענוג כּהנים האָבן זיך געהאַט געהײליקט, און דאָס פֿאָלק איז ניט געװען אײַנגעזאַמלט אין ירושלים.
